Quarterly invoices are postcards that will be sent from Southampton Township, Cumberland County and are due within 30 days of receipt. Payment can be made by cash, check and the new online credit card payment option.

The Service Rates listed below are guaranteed to stay the same for the life of the contract.
Residents may choose from the following levels of service:
***Accounts that are 90 days delinquent will be canceled and toters will be pulled. The bill must be paid in full and a $50 reinstatement fee will be accessed to restart service. Accounts may be disqualified for participation in the municipal trash collection contract for repeated delinquencies***

Apple Valley Waste/Park’s observes the following holidays that will dely trash pick up by 1 day:

The following two centers in our area make recycling convenient at no cost to the general public.

Cumberland County Landfill Drop-Off Recycling Collection Site:
620 Newville Road, Newburg, PA 17240
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m.

*No charge for dropping off recyclables. Must stop at scale house window.
*Recyclables are accepted co-mingled, no need to separate.

Cumberland County Recycling & Disposal Guide: A to Z
Cumberland County Electronics Recycling Center is located at 1001 Claremont Road, Carlisle. The cash fee for all accepted electronics is $0.50/pound. There will be a 1.5% convenience fee for debit card users and a 2.5% convenience fee for credit card users. The minimum debit and credit card convenience fee is $2.50. Sorry, checks are not accepted. The fee offsets the County’s costs for collecting, packaging, loading, shipping and recycling electronics and does not generate a profit. Anyone, regardless of place of residence, is able to use the recycling center assuming fees are paid in full.

Mission Central Computer Ministry
Mission Central is located at 5 Pleasant View Drive in Mechanicsburg. They accept any brand of computer equipment or electronic equipment in any condition FREE of charge. The computer equipment is reused, redistributed or recycled depending on condition. They do NOT accept televisions for recycling. Dispose of your ag plastic for FREE without taking up space in the landfill. R. Davis Enterprises provides agricultural plastic recycling, but will also accept other plastic and cardboard that needs to be recycled. R.
